This work is part of the artist’s studio archive release. Created during the artist’s MFA period, this early self-portrait explores the use of a dead and limited palette, focusing on tonal relationships, structure, and the foundations of classical oil painting technique.
The work was previously exhibited in the SLA Art Space Self Portraits Exhibition (2026).
Presented in excellent condition. The canvas will be shipped carefully rolled in a protective tube. Original stretcher bars can be included for the collector upon request.
