This work was created during Sierra Merda’s MFA period and is part of the artist’s studio archive release. It represents a period of exploration within her painting practice, developing themes of the body, identity, and unconventional forms of beauty. This is a painting of a life model that took over four days to complete.
Stretched canvas. Presented in excellent condition.
The work can be shipped either flat or rolled in a protective tube, depending on the destination and collector preference. If removed from the stretcher bars, the canvas will require re-stretching upon arrival. Original stretcher bars will be included.
