About me
Sierra Merda (also known as Oneslutriot) is a Lithuanian-born painter and draftsperson based in New York City.
With over 50 exhibitions across Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States, she presented her debut solo exhibition, Venus from the Block, in New York in 2026. Rooted in London’s feminist punk, DIY, and underground scenes, she earned an MFA in Painting (Anatomy Track) from the New York Academy of Art in 2025, receiving the Martha & Walter Erlebacher Award and the Chubb Fellowship (2025–2026), the Academy’s highest student honour. In 2026, she won the Women in Art Prize Overseas Artist Award for her painting VVITCH. Her work and practice have been featured in multiple magazine interviews and newspaper articles in Lithuania, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Featured Interview
